Leads the Commission as head of delegation at the UPU Congress in Doha, themed "New World, New Strategy" was held from 24 September to 15 October 2012 poll conducted o Through Malaysia has selected members to the Postal Operations Council (POC) for a period of four years (2013-2016) which consists of 40 countries only. In the poll, Malaysia received 105 votes against 76 votes received at the Geneva Congress in 2008 (an increase of 38%). o For the ASEAN region, Thailand and Indonesia were also selected along with Malaysia and Singapore were selected failed in the Penggundian. o Malaysia's active role in the UPU has enabled Malaysia to spearhead a number of Committees and Working Groups POC. Malaysia was honored to be the Deputy Chairman of the Physical Services Committee (letters and parcels) and Chairman of the Working Group on International Parcel Service remuneration. As Deputy Chairman of the Committee, also was a member of the Management Committee of the POC.
